Happy Sierra trails
The annual foothills art tour gave a
chance for Donald, Diana, Das, Mac and
Baby to experience a fantastic fall day in
the Sierra. First up, a hike on the Lewis
Creek Trail.
After a lunch of fried zucchini at Pete's
Place in Oakhurst, tour stops included
Ahwahnee and Mariposa, where we
got to visit photographer Robert
Chaponot's glorious mountaintop
home and studio.
Though it did look savory,
we'll have to wait until our
next trip to Mariposa to
visit the restaurant. But at
least we got to yee-haw
with the locals.
