HELLO, PHILLY
It's hard to believe we were last all together in 2003 -- but
thanks to a reunion in Philadelphia of the National Arts
Journalism Program, I got a chance to catch up with my beloved
fellow fellows and meet other alumni of the program as well. A
jam-packed four days included seminars, performances,
receptions and a newfound resolve to keep the NAJP alive and
kicking. After the conference ended, I extended my stay on the
East Coast for a week by working in trips to Albany and New
York City. Click below for the highlights.
Together again
The reunion itinerary includes special
tours of Philadelphia, a number of
cultural performances and an NAJP
favorite: receptions.
Made for dancing
Is that Kristin and Josh
tripping the light fantastic?
One of the events many of the
fellows attended was
Philadanco at the new
Kimmell Center, home of the
Philadelphia Orchestra.
High culture
Yes, Douglas is wearing a TIE. You
know this is a special occasion. Pics
from the reunion's gala dinner.
Sunday sights
As the reunion weekend wraps
up, Donald explores some of
the sights of Philadelphia.
Welcome to Albany
What a treat to be able to catch up with
grad-school classmate Amy Biancolli Ringwald
and her beautiful family.
Tongue twister
Mitchell Ringwald is so photogenic
(and such a good Lego builder) that he
gets his very own page.
New York whirlwind
It's only May, and Donald already has been to New York
City TWICE this year. How can he resist the call of
Broadway?
